What’s included on a press release page?

NoozRoom automatically structures each press release with a dateline (location + date), the release body, a boilerplate, a media contact section, and an ending mark. All of these elements are configurable — you set your defaults in Settings and they apply to every release automatically. You can also override default settings on a per-release basis.

What is the Press Coverage post type for?

Press Coverage is for logging media placements — articles, podcast appearances, TV segments, and other third-party mentions about your organization. Each item links out to the original source. You can add the publication name, a date, an excerpt, and a featured image (such as a publication logo). Coverage items sort by date, newest first, and open in a new tab.

Can I schedule a press release to publish at a future date and time?

Yes, using WordPress’s built-in scheduled post feature.

Can I have a different boilerplate or media contact on a specific press release?

Yes, you can override the default settings for a specific press release.

Can I add images or video inside a press release?

Yes, using the WordPress editor.

What happens to my content if I deactivate or uninstall NoozRoom?

Content (custom post type data) remains in the database on deactivation. To permanently delete, you must intentionally/manually delete posts and enable the “delete data on uninstall” option to remove all plugin settings data.
